On June 25, 2024, ZEHO ECO's subsidiary, ZEHO Hengkuan (Wuhan) Ecological Environment Technology Co., Ltd., in collaboration with the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences, successfully won the bid for the Wuhan Jiangxia District Key Lake Basin Pollution Tracing and Water Environment Management Plan Preparation Project. This success marks a significant breakthrough in ZEHO ECO's market expansion in the Wuhan area since establishing a joint venture with Hengkuan International Group in the second half of 2023, laying a solid foundation for future market opportunities and orders in the region.

The project aims to address the basin's pollution issues by tracing pollutants, analyzing the temporal and spatial variations in water quality, and evaluating regional pollution loads and water environment capacity. It will provide scientific basis for improving water environment quality, enhancing self-purification capabilities, and protecting and managing the water environment in the Liangzi Lake, Futou Lake, and Lu Lake basins of Wuhan's Jiangxia District. Additionally, the project responds to the national “14th Five-Year Plan” for comprehensive treatment of key river basins and the national water environment quality assessment goals. It is guided by the aim of improving the ecological quality of lake water environments, relying on precise pollution tracing analysis at the basin level and implementing systematic governance throughout the entire basin. This project also serves as an application example for the protection of the Yangtze River, from scientific research to systematic management.
